In accordance with Section 19 of the Community Care and Assisted Living Act, “If a person prepays any portion of the cost of services provided by a class of community care facility designated by the Lieutenant Governor in Council, the licensee or manager of the facility shall, at the time of prepayment, deliver to the person a written statement setting out the terms and conditions of when a refund of all or any portion of the prepayment will be made.
FEES
Fees are due and paid on the 1st of each month. If families are applying for childcare subsidy, it is the parents/ guardian responsibility to fulfill all requirements of the childcare subsidy to maintain the subsidy. If families are not eligible for full subsidy, the parents/guardian are responsible for the remainder fees. Fees are based on enrolment not attendance (no fee deduction for sick/missed or statutory holidays).
Procedures
- it is the parents/guardian’s responsibility to keep all information current with the academy and childcare subsidy.
- if parents/guardians become ineligible for childcare subsidy, they will be liable for paying full monthly costs; it is the parents’/guardians’ responsibility to keep all information current with the childcare and childcare subsidy.
- The parent part of costs that are not covered by subsidies must be paid by the parents.
- If there are unpaid costs after 5 business days at the beginning of the month, the child will not be eligible to enroll in our childcare.
- The entire payment for the month will be needed if parents want to start childcare before the subsidy is accepted. Families will be reimbursed for their expenses after childcare received subsidy.
WITHDRAWAL
A month prior notice is required for child withdrawal, to avoid further additional month charges. In circumstances, if the outstanding balance have not been cleared there are chances that your personal information will be released to third party associated with recovering outstanding debt.
